Y'know, i never thought the time would come that i'm blogging about blogging. I mean we've blogged about some really stupid things within these past few weeks. Like politics, issues that still affect us, and even how we have no voice, this i can deal with, but blogging about blogging. I think somebody is running out of ideas. BUT since i have too...
Personal Benefits
1) Has blogging contributed to your own personal growth as a writer? How or why has it not?
I don't really think so. I think it's because i'm the type of person who likes to hide my feelings and not share them with my own family, let alone in an internet journal open to all of the world.
2) Has writing in the blogsphere developed a new voice for you as a writer? Has it shaped a new writing style or form different from the way you write in other spaces?
It has because if i hadn't been told to write this blog i'd only be writing to please myself.
Societal Benefits
1) How can blogging foster new types of relationships between people in society?
It CAN but it hasn't for me. It's a way to link you to others in the world who feel just as strongly as you do about some subjects.
2) Has blogging seeped into your relationships with others you knew prior to blogging?
No.
3) Has blogging helped you develop new relationships with others? How and what types of relationships?
Once again...no.
Redefining Media
1) What do you think is the role of media in society?
In all actuality i believe that it is just to give us opinions (mostly uneducated ones) of people who we do not know.
2) How is blogging different from the way other media forms are shaped in our society? Does it fulfill what you believe is the role of media in our society?
It's not really different, the only thing is that it's your uneducated opinion.
3) Has blogging (reading and writing blogs) changed the way you relate to news media?
No.
4) Do you think there are limitations in blogging as a form of media?
No because you can say whatever you wnat, people may not listen but you can still say.

The Blog Carnival is in town!!!!
You must hide, it's here once again. I have to once again blog about political situtations. So now here's an article dedicated to the presidential election.
So pick yer Poison:
Osama...oh excuse me.. Obama , Bill... i mean Hilary Clinton, or John Mclame.
One sounds like a terrorist, one is going to give all power to her husband, and the other SUCKS.
Here's my resolve...Chuck Norris for president.
Ok before all the political complaining A-holes out there start bothering me about what i just said.
This is not my real opinion. I believe that out of all three Obama is the best for the job, but since i am 14 years old my opinion doesn't matter.
So i guess im 'posed to talk about... these peoples views and powers and stuff. But this sounds slightly dull, so i'm going to expose their deepest darkest secrets until every single one of the candidates cry blood.
Let's start with Hillary "i can't get the young people's votes so i have to resort to appearing on shows like Saturday Night Live." Clinton. She's a very strong candidate, too bad nobody else i've talked to thinks so.
Everybody i've talked to believes that she is taking to much time taking shots at Obama than thinking about what could potentially help her campaign. Hey Hillary it's 3 a.m., why is it that all i'm seeing on tv right now is you trying to shame Obama, mostly shaming yourself..
Oh, and Obama, though i endorse you, you could stop talking about CHANGE for god sakes and tell us how you're planning to do it
Oh and don't even get me started on john mclame.
OK in all honesty i coouldn't find that many secrets so i just slandered them all. I hope this offends somebody so we can get a stirring argument going. Aight talk to ay later ,naw meen.

VT still affects us
Yes, it has happened. Once again the merciless teacher gods have forsaken me, assignment after assignment they curse me with. "Write about this, write about that. Write about a tragedy that you think still affects the world." I hear this constantly. So as my assignment states, there are some tragedies that will affect us until the end of time because people don't learn from others mistakes. Yes the massacre at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia is one of those tragedies.
On April 16 2007, as you may or may not already know, a gunman(I will not say his name because of his purpose of commiting this crime) commited two seperate attcks about two hours apart. The first of these crimes was commited at West Ambler Johnston Hall co-ed residence hall that houses 894 students, at about 7 a.m. The hall was normally only accessible to its residents via magnetic key card before 10 a.m. However, the gunman's student mailbox was in the lobby of the building, so he had pass card access after 7:30 a.m.
The gunman shot his first victim at 7:15 a.m. It was a freshman, Emily J. Hilscher, age 19, of Woodville, Rappahannock County, Virginia, and a male resident assistant, Ryan C. Clark, a senior, age 22, of Martinez, Columbia County, Georgia, were shot and killed in the room Hilscher shared with another student. Almost two hours after the first killings, the gunman appeared at the nearby post office and mailed a package of writings and video recordings to NBC News; the package was postmarked 9:01 a.m. He then walked to the site of the second set of murders.
The second set of killings were even more violent than the first.About two hours after the initial shootings, Cho entered Norris Hall, which houses the Engineering Science and Mechanics program among others, and chained the three main entrance doors shut. He placed a note on at least one of the chained doors, claiming that attempts to open the door would cause a bomb to explode.By the end of this second attack, which lasted nine minutes, the gunman had fired at least 174 rounds, killing 30 people and wounding 17 more. Police insist that he was well prepared to continue, finding more than 200 live rounds.
Society today could learn from this incident, realizing the trauma and mental stress that the bullied are put through.

I've lost my voice
First of all, i apologize to all of my readers because I said my blog wouldn't be about stuff like this , but as it stands right now, this is a school assignment, so to all of my readers *cough* both of you*cough*, once again I am sorry.
I, as a teen, have been put in the same situation as many teens have been in throughout most of time. I've lost my voice, or rather it has been taken from me. The adults and authority figures in the city of Rochester, where violence and killings occur regularly, they're always trying to fix teenager's problems.
But let's take a minute to think about this...I've officially thought about it and i think this SUCKS!!! Really, how are you going to fix our problems when you're refusing to listen to us it just doesn't work. It's like asking you what you want for dinner and then shoving dog crap down your mouth without your consent.
Oh and don't even get me started on "Zero Tolerance." The only thing zero tolerance is accomplishing is filling up the jails with people who commit other minor crimes and leaving the killers on the street. Prime example the two teens murdered here in febuary. You know, the ones whose blood was scattered all over the front page of the
d and c. Yeah, their killer still wasn't caught, but we caught that man who was driving without a license and we put him away for a long long time.
If you want to talk about our problems maybe talk to us about them first.

I really hate teachers
After a long day at schhool, after hours of demanding work, after dealing with over-opinionated faculty, with asshole students, and the horrors of realizing there was homework I didn't know about I've come to a realization...I don't like teachers, at all. There are so many types of teahers, and i hate almost every one of them. They all feel there so much better than you just because they have a degree. Well for all the kids that are afraid to say it, I will. Take your degrees and shove them up your ass. I go through enough stuff without having to deal with you. I mean, there are the chatty teachers *cough* Craddock *cough*, the skitso teachers (nija), the teachers that tell you about their life like you really care. Does that sound familiar Lamb? Then there''s just the downright rude asshole teachers, I'm not even going to try to hide this one Pit. This makes no sense. I believe it's time to let the students rule! To let the inmates run the asylum!
The time to rebel!
The time to rebel!

overshadowed
I am being controlled by the masses just as you are, just as the rest of the world is. People write blogs about political issues and other things they feel strong about, forcing their issues down our throats thinking everyone should care. I don't. This blog is not one of those blogs , this blog is not about iraq, not about wars, not about suffering, this is a happy blog...as defined by me. You may not like what I write, hell, you may not even like me. Just know that if you feel that way, I
probably feel the same about you and that if you were about to die i would not lift a finger to help you.
Now that that's out of the way... How are you?
